West Bay offers a variety of innovative, person-centered residential living options to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. Presently, we operate over 30 individualized Residential Supports across the state of Rhode Island, which reflect the unique personality and lifestyle of the person who reside in them. Each person’s home is safe, comfortable and welcoming.

 

As an individual’s needs may change over time, in terms of health or independence, he/she may transition to a new residence offering a different level of support when necessary. It is West Bay’s goal to deliver the highest quality services and to continually ensure the best living option for each person we serve in order that he/she can live a meaningful life, as independently as possible, and be an active part of their community.

 

Our exemplary staff works in partnership with every individual and family members to create a person-centered plan, which includes weekly and daily schedules, as well as objectives to meet household, personal and community needs and interests.
